About Gari Rate

The company price is half the story. Registration brings FBR advance tax, the provincial registration fee and token tax; then every month there is fuel, insurance and servicing. Gari Rate puts it in one place and cites every figure.
Where we are
Tax and registration are worked out for Punjab and Islamabad only. Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan follow once their official schedules are checked; until then we point to their official calculators and do not guess.
What we are not
We are not affiliated with any vehicle maker, dealer, FBR or any excise department. We do not sell vehicles, we show no ads, and we never list “own money” premiums as prices.
Who runs Gari Rate

Prices come only from makers’ own lists, and the fuel price from Aaj ka Rate. Every line in detail: Sources and method.
How and how often we check
Every tax line carries its source, the date it took effect, the day we last read it and whether it is verified; a figure we have not matched against the original notification or Act is labelled “Unverified”. We re-read the sources after each budget (the Finance Acts take effect on 1 July) and whenever an excise department publishes a new rate. The tax sums are checked by automated tests.
